Electric Solar System Working Model | Solar Panel Installation step by step
In this video I will show you how I installed a solar power system using a string inverter for less than $1 per watt. I used a Fronius Primo Gen 24 Inverter which meets the new requirements of UL 1741 SB.
After getting various quotes for solar, I decided that I could save a ton of money by installing solar myself. My total cost was less than ½ the lowest bidder, and less than ¼ the cost of the highest bidder.

I am not a licensed solar installer or electrician. The purpose of this video is to give you confidence that you can learn how to DIY install solar if you are willing to spend some time researching the national electric code, local regulations, and watch some tutorials. Attempt any DIY project at your own risk. Solar installations involve high voltages which can be extremely dangerous. Consult professionals if you are unsure how to do something.
