Automatic LED Light Using NE555 - Great Ideas
In this video I made a LED flasher circuit using a 555 timer IC on breadboard
The 555 timer is configured as an stable multivibrator, which basically means it continuously oscillates between two states (high and low) without any external triggering
The output pin of the 555 timer switches between high and low states according to its internal timing. This output signal controls the on-off behavior of the LED
By adjusting the values of the external resistors and capacitors, you can easily change the blinking rate of the LED without needing to redesign the entire circuit
Expand your circuit skills past our simple circuits projects by adding a chip! The 555 timer is a great, cheap chip, to use in your beginning circuit building projects because you don't need to hook it up to a computer to code it!
