This video will show you how to make a latching circuit or an on/off switch with a contactor or relay. With a latching circuit, the contacts will remain on once input power is applied and will remain on until the connection is broken. For this set up you will need a contactor, auxiliary contact, normally open pushbutton switch and a normally closed pushbutton switch. A relay can be used in place of a contactor as long as there is an auxiliary contact that will close when the coil is actuated.
