How to Make Police Light | Police Strobe light
Today I am going to make police strobe light circuit using LM555 IC.
This is the circuit diagram of this project.
Connect all components in IC according to this circuit diagram.
Firstly we have to connect both ICs by soldering it's pin-1 to pin-1 and pin-8 to pin-8 of both IC.
Solder pin-1 of IC-1 to Pin-1 of IC-2 and
Solder pin-8 of IC-1 to pin-8 of IC-2 as solder
Next we have to connect pin-2 to pin-6 of both ICs. (we have to short pins in both ICs).
Next connect 1M Resistor to the IC.
Solder 1M Resistor between pin-2 to pin-3 of ic.(Connect Resistor in both ics) as you can see
Next solder +ve pin of 1uf capacitor to pin-2 of 2nd IC and solder -ve pin of capacitor to pin-1 of both ICs as you can see in the picture.
Solder 100nf ceramic capacitor between pin-2 of IC-1 and pin-1 of both ICs as you can see in the picture.
Make LEDs like this connect it's legs according to the circuit diagram.
Next connect LEDs to pin-3 of both ICs as solder in the picture.
Now solder +ve wire of battery clipper to pin-8 of the both ICs and -ve wire of battery clipper to pin-1 of the ICs as shown
Now circuit is completed so connect battery to the Battery clipper and see the light of LEDs like as police strobe light. These LEDs will blink to copy as police strobe light.
This type we can make police strobe light using LM555 IC
