How to make a simple bidirectional DC motor control / 20 A

QUARKTWIN TECHNOLOGY LTD is an independent electronic components distributor, committed to providing seamless integration of distribution services for world-renowned brands. Since our establishment in 2015, we have adhered to honesty and ethics as our business philosophy. We rely on a strong information network and supplier database and have gradually established an excellent reputation and credibility in our international business. With accurate quotations, excellent credit, reasonable prices, reliable quality, timely delivery and genuine service, we have won the praise of the majority of our customers.

Very simple and very inexpensive to make. This bi-directional DC motor speed controller is based on the LM741 op amp and a complementary NPN/PNP pair the TIP3055 and TIP2955. We add 2 1K resistors, a 25k potentiometer, 2 batteries of 9 to 15 volts and that's it!

This assembly allows you to control the speed of a DC motor, or the intensity of several 12 volt LED strips, or even up to 60 watts of incandescent or 12 volt LED bulbs.
