In this video I used NE 555 timer as a Multivibrator which produces a square wave. This square wave is feed to 8 LEDs which oscillates in two sets (each set consists of 4 LEDs).When circuit is ON then these LEDs ON/OFF alternatively You can make this LED chaser circuit very easily at home. Following components are required.
1.Breadboard/PCB
2.NE 555
3.Connecting Wires
4.8xLEDs(Three Different Colors)
5.Power supply
6.Capacitor and some resistors.
Learn how to make LED Chaser Circuit Using 4017 and 555 IC. The simple Breadboard tutorial and electronics project.
This chaser circuit is based on two ICs that are 555 timer IC and CD4017, in the circuit 555 timer IC generate pulses that can be adjusted by the variable resistor, the pulses triggers the CD4017 IC so it runs ten LEDs in sequential arrangement. You can arrange the LEDs in different styles and make it on PCB. The breadboard tutorial is just for learning and the step by step process in breadboard tutorials makes learning electronic circuits more easy to understand. There is no need of circuit diagram, just follow the steps and make your own 10 LED chaser circuit. If you have any confusion or question, so you can ask me in comments below or if you still need schematic (circuit diagram) so contact me on IdeasTv's official facebook page. I hope this DIY chaser tutorial will be useful for you!
Hello today we are going to make led chase circuit and for that we are gonna need a NE555 Timer IC and also CD4017 IC are gonna be the main components you are also gonna need a 2 resistors 220 ohm and 1 kilo ohm 1 non polar capacitor with 100 micro farad and 16 micro-farad 50 volt polar capacitor and some 10 kilo ohm variable resistor and 10 leds any color you like
