This video represents the creation of a transformer for an analog electric train, by assembling a switching power supply transformer with a voltage variator and its accessories which go with it, such as a potentiometer which serves as a speed variator and a Polarity reversing switch for forward and reverse trains.

It is by the passage of a train of several wagons over a trigger sensor installed on a railway track, that the metal wheel of a locomotive through an electrical contact will send a signal to an electronic control block to close the automatic barriers of a level crossing and then open them after the train has passed.
