Top 2 MT3608 DC DC Boost Module Upgrade Projects
This IoT training targets audiences such as project managers, managers, corporate digital transformation personnel. It allows us to better understand the challenges and different aspects of the IoT transformation which is a counterpart to the digital transformation.
This video is not really an in-depth test more than a sharing regarding the MT3608 module.
On the video no workload, just a measurement following an adjustment of the desired voltage.
But I could see that the voltage under load does not move.
Even if the ideal is to adjust the potentiometer with the load you want to connect to it (2A max, above 1A small heat sink or small fan in order to preserve the components is recommended)
For sale on banggood, Amazon...
Needing to increase the voltage of an 18650 battery from 3.7V to 12V for a project, I need to test its feasibility.
Features:
Input voltage: 2V - 24V
Output voltage: 3V - 28V
Output current: max. 2A
Suggest to use 1A and use the heat sink when working for long hours.
Efficiency: 93%
Size: 36mm x 17mm x 6.5mm
Pin Definition: Input to IN-IN+ / Output to OUT-OUT+
Noticed
It is a boost converter. Used only to increase voltage, not to reduce it. the output voltage must therefore be greater than the input voltage.
Please turn the potentiometer clockwise more than 20 turns before testing
You cannot see the maximum voltage and current value as output simultaneously. When the output voltage is increased, the output current is reduced accordingly.
Do not use no load or light load (less than 10% of output power) and do not connect too many objects on one module
