A limit switch can be used to control machinery as part of a control system, as a safety interlock, or as a counter enumerating objects passing a point. Limit switches are used in a variety of applications and environments because of their ruggedness, ease of installation, and reliability of operation.
This video describes the Forward Reverse 3phase Motor,3phase Motor Forward Reverse Wiring.Forward Reverse Motor Control Wiring with Limit Switch,3 phase Motor Reverse Forward Controller.
Power circuit and control circuit required to rotate a 3 phase motor in both directions.
This circuit has the ability to change the direction of rotation of the forward motor simultaneously.
It is mandatory to use an overload protector for the 3 phase motor used. The overload should be selected based on the maximum current that the motor can get.
The power circuit can be connected in the form of Star connection or Delta connection.
Switch interlock and contactor interlock are used for motor control circuit.
By doing so, the forward contactor and the reverse contactor can be turned on at the same time to prevent damage to the circuit.
The design of the power circuit for the motor should be done by switching the phase 3 supplied by one contactor to the overload.
Two Magnetic Contactors are required to run a 3 phase motor forward and reverse
From one Magnetic Contactor,
3 phase is directly supplied to the 3 phase motor through overload protection and through the other Magnetic Contactor, 3 phase is given by changing two phases.
To change the running direction of a 3 phase motor, two phases should be changed and the supply should be given.
When phase 3 is given to the motor as L1, L2, L3, the motor rotates normally.
If it is powered by L2, L1, L3, the direction of rotation of the motor will change and it will start working.
This circuit is widely used for factory machinery.
