I will show two buck converter based on ic XL4016 IC. That can step down voltage. XL4016 and XL4015 (5A) ic is the same but the XL4016 ic is the most powerful of all of them. This ic is very simple and easy to use and also cheap. So our chinese friends made many buck converter. And XL4016 is one of them. It can handle high current of 12A and can adjust its output voltage from 1.2V to up to 36V. the maximum input voltage is 40 VDC
