Make an aluminum-air battery (NaCl vs. KOH): EP.3
In this video, I will make 2 aluminum air batteries with salt water (NaCl) as the electrolyte and an aqueous solution of KOH as the electrolyte. The goal here is to find out which one is superior in terms of battery backup as well as power output.
In this video I will teach you how to make an aluminum air battery using scrap aluminum and graphite powder to get 1.4V and 100mA.
First part of a small series of videos on this type of project.
Here it's just about the basics, and why, in theory, it can't work.
But I'm still going to test because it's tempting, watching their videos.
For the first tests I will just try to assemble elements that already exist, without modification.
In a second time I would modify the alternators in version with permanent magnets.
