Can I use a SINGLE GROUND cable for the entire installation?
whether or not we can use a single grounding cable for the entire electrical installation, similar to a master network, would be to save money, as the cable meter is expensive is a very valid question. I used NBR 5410 as a base.
NBR 5410 ITEM 5.1.2.2.3.6 A PROTECTIVE CONDUCTOR MAY BE COMMON TO TWO OR MORE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. SINCE THE GROUND CONDUCTOR LEAVES THE SAME CONDUCT OF A QDC WITH THE RESPECTIVE PHASE CONDUCTORS OF THESE CIRCUITS WHICH THE SAME GROUND CONDUCTOR WILL DIVIDE, EVEN IF THEIR TRAJECTORIES COME TO BE DIVIDED ALONG THE ROAD, BUT THE GROUND CONDUCTOR HAS TO FOLLOW UP AND NOT SEE IT CAN BE CONNECTED TO OTHER CIRCUITS WHICH WILL NOT COME OUT OF THE SAME CONDUIT AS THE QDC, AND THE GAUGE OR SECTION OF THE GROUND CONDUCTOR THAT WILL SERVE THE CIRCUITS MUST BE EQUAL TO THE GAUGE OF THE PHASE CONDUCTOR WITH THE LARGEST SECTION.
