How to Make Rain Drop LED Chaser Circuit using 74HC595N
In this video you will learn to assemble an LED sequence, using the integrated circuit NE555 and the 74HC595. A very interesting circuit and easy to do. The assembly is done step by step on Breadboard.
The 74HC595 is an easy and inexpensive way to increase the number of digital out pins on your Arduino. You can drive up to 16 LEDs with one 74HC595 using a technique called multiplexing. Multiplexing is a very efficient technique for controlling many components wired together in a matrix/array. In this example, I'll be talking exclusively about multiplexing an array of LEDs, but the same basic principles apply to other multiplexed components (sensors, buttons, etc).
