This circuit shows how to use a timer to protect the motor when a water motor is automatically operated by a float switch.

When the Motor On Signal is received from the Float Switch

It turns on the contactor through the N/C (Normally Closed) point of the timer.

***N/O (Normally Open)If there is no water draw from the water motor, the Motor will be OFF after the time set by the Timer.

 **When the motor just runs without water.

**When something is stuck in the motor.

**When Foot Vale is not functioning properly

This circuit prevents things like this from burning out the motor.
